M-C can make something out of nothing! Put her to
the test... do you have some item you would like to see repurposed?
M-C loves to restore, recycle and refinish just
about anything. Above, she fashioned a clock using old piano keys along with the brass screws from the piano that are in
place of numbers on the clock face.
To the left you see what she did with old skate boards from her childhood to make
a great set of shelves to hold cool things like the little train she made, a magic 8 ball, kaleidoscope baseball and some
frames.
Lower left and below, M-C found new uses for old windows.

Marie-Claire
(M-C) Lamarre was raised in New Hampshire and attended Providence College with a major in Fine Arts. Following her junior
year abroad in Italy, M-C spent her senior year on her thesis in Ceramics. Upon graduating with a BA in Fine Arts in 1996,
M-C began what was an eight-year-long Art Administration career in the Boston area. Drawing on her art administration experience
coupled with her fine arts training, in the spring of 2004 M-C launched her fulltime artistic career with a one-person photography
exhibition at Harvard University. With a focus on exhibiting and selling fine art photography, mural painting, participating
in regional juried art fairs and teaching private and adult education art classes, she will continue to pursue her passion
for the arts.
